Description of crochet booties
Dial 10 air.p. and and knit:
1 circle: 1 tbsp. s/n in the 2nd air.p. from the hook, 1 tbsp. s/n in next 7 air p., 3 tbsp. s/n in last air.p., turn the knitting and knit along the opposite edge of the air. chains: 2 air.p. in the first air, 1 tbsp. s/n in next 7 air p., 2 tbsp. s/n in last air.p. = 20 tbsp. s/n.
Round 2: knit st. s/n in a circle, knitting 3 tbsp in turning loops. s/n = 26 tbsp. s/n.
3 circle: 1 tbsp. s/n, 2 tbsp. s/n in next loop, 1 tbsp. s/n in next 6 p., 1 half st. s/n in next 2 p., 2 tbsp. s/n in next 5 p., 1 half st. s/n in next 2 p., finish the circle symmetrically = 34 p.
4 circle: 1 tbsp. s/n in the first 2 p., 2 tbsp. s/n in next p., 1 tbsp. s/n in next 10 p., knit 3 times (2 tbsp. s/n in the next p., 1 tbsp. s/n in the next 2 p.), 1 tbsp. s/n in next 8 p., 2 tbsp. s/n in next p., 1 tbsp. s/n in next 2 p., 2 tbsp. s/n in last circle loop = 40 st. s/n.
5 circle: 1 tbsp. s/n in the first 3 p., 2 tbsp. s/n in next p., 1 tbsp. s/n in next 6 p., half st. s/n in next p., knit 5 times (1 tbsp. s/2n in the next 2 p., 2 tbsp. s/2n in the next p.), 1 tbsp. s/2n next 2 p., half st. s/n in next p., 1 tbsp. s/n in next 6 p., 2 tbsp. s/n in next p., 1 tbsp. s/n in next 3 p., 2 tbsp. s/n in last p. = 48 p.
6th circle: *1 tbsp. s/n in next 7 p., 2 tbsp. s/n in next loop, repeat from * around = 54 sts.
Round 7: knit in the round st. s/n in each loop only behind the back walls of the loops.
8 kru: conn. Art. in the first st. s/n, 3 air.p. (1st tbsp. s/2n here and further in each circle), 1 tbsp. s/2n in each loop in a circle, conn. Art. in a chain.
9 circle: 1 chain stitch, 1 st. s/n in the same loop as the connection. Art., 1 tbsp. s/n in next 7 p., knit 12 times (1 tbsp. s/n in the next p., subtract 1 p., knitting 2 tbsp. s/n in different loops of the base with a common top), 1 tbsp. s/n in next 10 p., conn. Art. in the first st. s/n = 42 p.
10th round: 3 chain stitches, 1 tbsp. s/2nv each loop in a circle, finish connecting. Art. to the 3rd air station the beginning of the circle.
11 round: 1 chain stitch, 1 st. s/n in the same loop, 1 tbsp. s/n in next 9 p., knit 6 times (1 tbsp. s/n in the next p., decrease), 1 tbsp. s/n in next 14 p., conn. Art. in the first st. s/n = 36 p.
12th round: knit as 10th round.
13th round: 1 chain stitch, 1 st. s/n in the same loop, 1 tbsp. s/n in next 7 p., knit 6 times (1 tbsp. s/n in the next p., decrease), 1 tbsp. s/n in next 10 p., conn. Art. in the first st. s/n = 30 p.
14th circle: same as 10th circle.
15th round: 1 chain stitch, 1 tbsp. s/n in each loop in a circle, finish connecting. Art.
16-19 circles: repeat 14-15 circles, cut and fasten the thread.
Cheeks(make 2 pcs.)
Using a white thread, cast on 2 chain stitches. and knit in the round:
1 circle: 6 tbsp. s/n in the 2nd air.p. from the hook.
2nd circle: 2 tbsp. s/n in each loop.
3rd round: in every 2nd loop of the circle knit 2 tbsp. s/n = 18 tbsp. s/n. Cut the thread, leaving a long end.
Tongue
Using a pink thread, dial on 2 chain stitches. and perform 5 tbsp. s/n in the 2nd air.p. from the hook, cut the thread, leaving a long end.
Eyes(make 2 pcs.)
Using a white thread, cast on 3 chain stitches. and knit 1 tbsp. s/n in the 2nd air.p. from the hook, to the trail. knit a loop 3 tbsp. s/n, turn the knitting to the other side and knit 2 tbsp. s/n in next n., conn. Art. in the first st. s/n the beginning of the circle. Cut the thread, leaving a long end.
Ears(make 2 pcs.)
Using a white thread, cast on 6 chain stitches. and knit
1 circle: 1 tbsp. s/n in the 2nd air.p. from the hook and to the next. 2 p., 1 half st. next p., 5 tbsp. s/2n last air.p., turn the knitting to the opposite side and knit 1 half st. s/n in next p., 1 tbsp. s/n in next 3 p. = 13 p.
Round 2: chain 1, turn knitting, 1 tbsp. dc in next 3 p., 1 half st. s/n in next 2 p., 2 tbsp. s/2n next 3 p., 1 half st. s/n in next 2 p., 1 tbsp. s/n in next 3 p. = 16 p.
Round 3: chain 1, turn knitting, 1 tbsp. s/n in next 5 p., 1 half st. s/n in next p., 2 tbsp. s/2n next 4 p., 1 half st. s/n in next p., 1 tbsp. s/n in next 5 p. = 20 p.
4 circle: 1 tbsp. s/n in next 7 p., half st. s/n in next p., 2 tbsp. s/2n next 4 p., half st. s/n in next p., 1 tbsp. s/n in next 7 p. Cut the thread, leaving a long end.
Assembly
Using threads coming from the small parts of the muzzle, sew them on as shown in the photo. Using black thread, make a couple of stitches for the pupils and nose.

We knit beautiful booties for a dog
Some people buy shoes for their dog, some sew or knit with their own hands, while others think that this is unnecessary. Not every dog needs shoes, but if you decide your friend does, there are always options. You can knit warm shoes for your tailed pet yourself if you know how to handle knitting needles. And with the help of this detailed description and pattern, you will definitely get beautiful booties for a small breed dog.
Dimensions: sole length - 4 cm; boot height - 4 cm.
Required:
30 g red and 10 g black yarn (100% wool, 250 m/100 g); set of double needles No. 2.5; red ribbon (width 0.5 cm) - 1 m; elastic rubber thread.
Abbreviations:
n. = loop(s);
persons = knit (loop);
purl = purl (loop).
Elastic band 1x1: In the front rows, knit alternately 1 person. and 1 purl., in the purl rows of loops, knit according to the pattern.
Garter stitch:
all rows are faces. loops.
Knitting density:
elastic bands 1x1 24 p. = 10 cm;
garter stitch (2 threads)
18 sts and 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Calculation of loops and rows
according to dog paw measurements:
sole: width = 4 cm (7 p.), length = 5 cm (16 rows);
finger height= 1.5 cm (4 rows);
bootie height = 4 cm (12 rows);
pastern girth= 12 cm (36 p.);
distance from fingertips to pastern
= 2 cm (6 rows).
Sole
Cast on 7 stitches with black yarn and knit garter stitch
.
In the 3rd row, add 1 stitch on each side.
In the 16th row, decrease 1 stitch on each side and bind off the loops.
Bootleg
On stocking needles along the edge of the sole, raise the loops in the following order: on the 1st and 3rd needles - 6 stitches each (heel and toe); on the 2nd and 4th knitting needles - 8 stitches each (side parts).
Knit the first 2 rows garter stitch
, adding evenly in the 2nd row: to the heel and toe, 3 stitches each (= 9 stitches each), to the side parts - 4 stitches each (= 12 stitches each)
Next knit 4 rows (sock height) elastic band 1x1.
Then for the front part of the bootie, knit on a knitting needle, where there are 9 stitches of the sock, 6 rows (the distance from the toe to the boot) garter stitch
. Knit each last stitch on the toe needle together with the first loop from the side needle (in the 1st row - knit, in the 2nd row - purl) and leave it on the toe needle, then turn the knitting.
Finally, knit 8 rows on four needles (9 sts on each) elastic band 1x1 and close the loops.
Assembly
Pull an elastic rubber thread evenly along the upper edge of the boot through the loops on the wrong side and secure it. The rubber thread should not be visible from the front side.
For the ties, cut the ribbon in half and sew it to the back of the tops (the ends should be even). You can knit or crochet the laces.
Advice☞ To prevent knitted shoes from wearing out quickly, you can hem the sole with soft felt or leather.

In this article we are knitting clothes for small dogs. Autumn time, and the approach of winter, makes you think about the wardrobe of your pets. In particular, it is very important to purchase or make your own booties for dogs. Judge for yourself, in the cold season, even the most hardened animals sometimes freeze, let alone small dogs that are not adapted to harsh weather changes. Don't lock them in an apartment for the winter. That's why we knit little booties, which will look harmonious on pets, and also perform a protective and heating function.
Before you start knitting clothes for small dogs Of course, you need to take care of the materials. In my case, I used YarnArt Charisma yarn (80% wool, 20% acrylic; 100 g/200 m) 60 g red, the remains of white and green yarn, knitting needles No. 2 and hook No. 3.
We knit small booties on two knitting needles with side seam. Cast on 26 stitches using red yarn and knit 4 rows in stockinette stitch. Then knit 1 row, repeating sequence No. 1: “Knit 2 stitches together, yarn over.”
The next row is all purl stitches (the fold line of the top edge of the dog bootie). Then knit 4 rows in stockinette stitch and repeat the row of holes: “Knit 2 stitches together, yarn over.” The next row is all purl stitches (a row of holes for the lace-tie).
Next, knit in stockinette stitch, alternating colors: 2 rows with red thread, then sequence No. 2: “1 row with white thread, 1 row with red thread, 1 row with green thread.” Then knit 6 rows with a red thread and repeat sequence No. 2 once. 
A special point in knitting booties for dogs is given to the heel. So, put the first 13 stitches on the auxiliary needle and continue to knit only the last 13 stitches in stockinette stitch for 8 rows (heel height). We form the heel as follows: knit the first 5 loops, and knit the 6th and 7th loops together. “Unfold the model and knit 4 loops, knit 5 and 6 together.” Knit the heel of the dog booties in this way until there are 5 stitches left on the needle. Then cast on the missing 8 loops on both sides (4 loops on each side of the heel - on the knitting needle - again 13 loops) and continue knitting with the postponed loops.
Knit 6 rows with red thread, then repeat the sequence of stripes and begin knitting the toe of the bootie. To do this, conditionally divide all the loops in half and decrease 4 loops in each front row as follows: 1 edge loop, 2 loops together at the beginning and end of one half of the loops, 2 loops together at the beginning and end of the sole loops. After 4 rows, cast off all stitches.
Upon completion of all work, booties for dogs needs to be assembled into a single whole. To do this, fold the upper edge of the bootie along the fold of the first row of holes and hem it from the inside with a hidden seam. Then sew a side seam. Crochet a chain from an air loop 40 cm long and thread it through the second row of holes (4 pieces in total).
