Mushroom caps for a kindergarten party. Master class with step-by-step photos

With the arrival of golden autumn, themed matinees begin in kindergartens. Children, teachers and parents celebrate together the beloved “Autumn Festival”. It is unlikely that such an event would be complete without the presence of the handsome man Mushroom. Check out some cute looks.

Next is the master class of the “second life of things” channel. Its presenter is Iren-TV. If you decide to follow the master, watch the video. Or limit yourself to a job description. In the second part there are a few more options for your imagination.

To sew a mushroom-shaped hat that a child will need, for example, at a kindergarten party, you will need scissors, thread, a glue gun, a pencil, a baseball cap (it has already been ripped open and the visor has been removed). You also need a sewing machine, corrugated cardboard, additionally glued with self-adhesive film for strength. Felt of different colors, a needle, it is not shown as a matter of course. Raincoat. Velveteen. Or any other fabric that is available. Sheet padding polyester.

Making a hat step by step

Let's start by taking corrugated cardboard, cutting out a circle from it, measuring the diameter of the head. Let's cut a hole in the circle. Try not to make a mistake, check, try on. Definitely necessary.

For the next operation you will need a glue gun. We wait until it warms up and begin gluing it. We use an oven mitt or cloth and never hold it with our hands. When gluing the circle with fabric, make sure that it is evenly distributed so that it is not wrinkled, so that the fabric does not give a wave.

We remove the excess raincoat by cutting it evenly into strips. Cut it out and, without reaching the edge of the cardboard, let the fabric spread evenly, the main thing is not to go over the edge, it’s all visible from the outside.

We sew the hat cap to the edges of the cardboard using a regular seam and then carefully, beautifully take matching threads and sew the main part with a hidden seam.

We sew the baseball cap to the cardboard, decide for yourself whether you will make elastic bands. Sewed on the cap. We seal the holes so that the padding polyester does not fall out. To do this, I decided to glue it due to lack of time, and quickly grabbed it.

You can already glue the padding polyester sheet to give the mushroom hat volume. Having already stuffed regular padding polyester in there, if you have an old pillow, you can glue it in a circle and take it from there, and that’s what I did. To add volume. Cut a circle out of corduroy and make triangular cuts. Or should I say, cutouts. Having stitched it on a typewriter, we put it on the clip itself and check it. More triangular cutouts are possible.

Four were enough to give the hat volume. Having made the pattern, we sew the fabric from the outer part with a hidden seam.

We combine raincoat fabric with corduroy. There was no way to sit and sew it neatly, so I decided to glue it with a gun. Make sure to distribute the fabric evenly to avoid problems.

Let's decorate a mushroom in autumn style

Having glued or stitched with a hidden seam, the mushroom cap itself is ready. Let's start decorating. The theme is “autumn”, I emphasized it with autumn leaves, without taking patterns from the Internet, I drew one small leaf, another large one. Using a disappearing marker, I drew lines like veins on a real leaf, stitched them several times so that they were thick enough to be seen. Having made two leaves, having already covered the imperfections, the seams that turned out to be so messy.

She covered the mushroom's hat with leaves. The finished result is in front of you. The baby will be happy and beautiful at the matinee.

I decided to sew it on with thread, but didn’t show it in the video. Finally I added a ladybug.

How to make a mushroom costume

In a mushroom costume, the central part is the hat, and this is where the main effort is needed. If you don’t have time for painstaking, complex work, then speed up the process by using whatman paper; it can be easily rolled into a cone shape, and painting will not take much time.

If you have enough time, then you can use a more serious method. Let's take an old unnecessary hat, for example, a straw one. We will cover it with red fabric; for volume, you can add foam rubber or padding polyester to it. We sew white and even circles onto it on top. Although it is possible to cover whatman paper with fabric, the main thing is that it is dense and holds its shape.

The costume on the child should resemble the stem of a mushroom; for this you can wear overalls or plain clothes.

As always at the matinee, the characters look terrifying. For adults, you will also have to work hard and make hats and other costume elements.

Mushroom hat for girls and boys

The most prominent part of the mushroom costume is its cap. The most important thing is to make one that resembles a mushroom. Mushroom caps are mostly monochromatic, only the fly agaric has red caps with white splashes.

To make a mushroom outfit, you can use a simple hat you already have, which is sold in the store, and make a kind of cover for it. If it is a fly agaric, then take red fabric with white polka dots, cut off a large circle so that you can cover the hat with it. The edges will have to be gathered and attached.

From thick felt (or any other fabric) white, cut a circle whose diameter is equal to the diameter of the hat. Cut a hole in the middle to make it ready. The fly agaric, as we know, has plates. To match the fly agaric, sew satin ribbons from the center of the circle to the edges (the seam is in the middle of the ribbon). Then glue this circle to the hat using gun glue. As a leg, you can use any white dress with frills (the fly agaric has a skirt).

You can also make shapes of other mushrooms, only in this case you can use velvet and do not sew on ribbons.

This is what a suit looks like on a boy

Good afternoon, today I have prepared an article that will tell you the most best ideas for kids crafts with mushrooms. Here you will find beautiful applications, voluminous mushroom meadows, and templates for children’s mushroom crafts made from colored paper. We will make boletus mushrooms and fly agaric mushrooms with our own hands in the form of an autumn applique using natural materials. Lay out the mushrooms like a mosaic of torn paper. Create bulk applications from cereals in the form of mushrooms. We will also make three-dimensional crafts from papier-mâché in the shape of mushrooms.

Craft mushroom

from PLASTILINE.

The very first crafts made from plasticine are usually mushrooms. Most often, children make a cylinder sausage and roll a ball, which is slightly flattened into a plump flat cake.

Children's favorite mushroom is fly agaric. He is so beautiful. At least poisonous. But it is important and necessary - it is used to treat moose when they are sick.

In the older group of kindergarten, you make various additions to the plasticine mushroom. Make plasticine grass around the leg. Individual thin plasticine green sausages. Or use a common ribbon - flatten a narrow sausage, cut it into a fringe - wrap it around the stem of the mushroom (as was done in the master class in the photo below).

To make the lesson in kindergarten more fun, you can offer it to those children who managed to make a mushroom’s TONGUE AND BIG EYES earlier (like the fly agaric craft in the photo below).

Later you can teach how to make a two-layer fly agaric cap. First, we sculpt a fly agaric leg from white plasticine. Then we wrap a white long narrow sausage around the leg - like a thick strap. And then we flatten it with our fingers all over the circle - we get a white skirt on the fly agaric leg.

We make the cap of the fly agaric mushroom TWO-LAYER.

Take 2 identical pieces of plasticine - white and red.

We divide the white piece into two parts and roll two balls. The first white ball is rolled into a cake. Leave the second one round. Place a round ball in the center of the white cake (this ball will give the desired bulge on the mushroom cap).

Roll the entire red piece into a ball and flatten it into a large round cake (it will be larger in size than our white mushroom cake). We cover our white flatbread with a ball in the center with this red flatbread. The red cake flows around the ball - it turns out to be a typical shape of a hat with a slide in the center. All that remains is to add the spots. And scratch line patterns in a stack on the bottom white part of the cap.

Plasticine

mushroom house.

If each child brings a jar of baby food from home, you can make a plasticine domi craft in the senior group of kindergarten. Coat the walls of the jar with white plasticine - heated in hot water. We soak a piece and it becomes liquid-soft, this kind of plasticine is easy to work with - and it does not stick so much to wet hands. We make a door and a window in the house. We cover the lid of the jar with red plasticine - with white circles-cakes. If you have time left, you can decorate your house with a pattern of flower vines.

You can put an LED flashlight or a luminous toy inside the house - and the house will glow from the inside.

Plasticine flat applications on the theme of a mushroom look very nice. You can work using the smear technique (flatten a small ball and smear it with your fingers).

You can work using the PLASTA technique - roll out a lump of ivy plasticine into a flat cake with a rolling pin (a smooth bottle of hairspray, etc.) and cut out the silhouette needed for the applique from the plastic - this is exactly how the silhouettes of mushrooms are cut out in the photo of the craft below.

Simple applications

with mushrooms

for kindergarten.

The most common mushroom crafts in kindergarten are applications made from colored paper. The silhouettes are cut out with scissors and pasted into an overall picture-craft. Older children - from 5 years old - can cut out the applique details with their own hands. And for kids in the younger group, the teacher cuts out all the elements of the applique.

You can also make mushroom-shaped lantern crafts from cardboard and colored paper. Cut out two cardboard silhouettes of a mushroom. In the center of each of them we cut a hole, which we cover with transparent tracing paper or an office file.

Between the cardboard walls we glue the BOARDS OF THE BOX and put a candle inside or put a white LED New Year's garland. It turns out to be a cozy night light for a child’s room, made with your own hands.

The sides of the inner box look like a LONG RECTANGLE - its long edges are bent and with this bent side they are glued to the walls in the shape of a mushroom.

You can see the layout of such a flashlight in more detail using the example of a similar lamp craft, but in the shape of an apple, in our article

Applique + drawing

The craft contains a mushroom.

Often, integrated classes are held in kindergarten - where two types of activities are combined - drawing and appliqué at the same time.

When making a mushroom craft, you can also use paints and colored paper. For example, give children a white hat cut out of cardboard. And the children’s task is to paint it red themselves and use white gouache to draw fly agaric spots (as in the photo of the mushroom craft below).

You can, as in the photo with the mushroom craft below, combine the FINGER Drawing technique and the BREAK APPLIQUE technique. Draw the mushroom cap using fingerprints. And fill the remaining parts with scraps of colored paper. Children are given paper that has already been torn into long narrow strips; the child uses his fingers to pinch the strip into small pieces - and places them on the craft areas coated with glue.

You can paint the entire mushroom with paints - like the fly agaric mushrooms on the craft below and applique add to them only the LACERY SKIRT on the mushroom stem. A skirt can be cut out of a paper napkin with a pattern (as in the photo below), or a skirt with a pattern can be obtained by cutting a snowflake out of paper - and then cutting it into halves - sectors - from one snowflake you will get many skirts for mushrooms at once.

This craft can be made on a regular background of colored paper or white landscape paper painted with a sponge.

Or you can make a beautiful autumn background from prints of dry leaves. Cover the leaves with paint and print on a landscape sheet. This lesson can be divided into 2 parts - 1 lesson making prints, in the 2nd lesson sticking an applique with a mushroom.

Mushroom skirts can be obtained by cutting paper cupcake molds with scissors (as was done in the fly agaric mushroom craft below). By adding waste material and non-standard techniques, you can get a new interesting craft with your own hands.

You can make drawing crafts-appliqués with a secret. We draw the stem of the mushroom with paints. And the hat comes as a separate piece made of cardboard - in which the DOOR-CUTS have already been made. The child paints the entire hat, including the doors. Then he glues the hat onto the picture (without applying glue to the door) and in place of the opened doors he glues a character - a bug, a snail, a frog, a gnome - the one who lives in the mushroom.

The door on the mushroom can be anywhere. Below, for example, like in this fabric craft from the photo below. Here we see a page from an educational book for very young children, made by mother’s hands.

Crafts Mushrooms

with autumn leaves.

You can also add natural materials to your application on the Mushroom theme - dry autumn leaves, maple seeds, dried flowers, pieces of bark or moss.

Folding crafts mushrooms

Using origami technique.

You can make mushrooms from a paper accordion. We fold a long strip of paper into folds - like a fan. We make folds along the long side of the strip. We get a long narrow fan. We bend it in half - and push it apart like a skirt in both directions - glue the place where the blades of the two halves of the fan meet.

It turns out to be a mushroom cap. In the photo below we see a children's applique made according to this principle.

If you thread a string in the place where we bent the fan, then it can be a pendant craft. It can be used to decorate a window in autumn style. Or hang it on the Christmas tree.

There is also a way to make a spring accordion from long narrow strips of paper. Such an accordion-spring can become a stem for a mushroom. We make the hat from a paper round, which is cut along one radius - from the edge to the center, cut with scissors. And the edges of this cut were placed on top of each other - overlapping and glued - to form a neat cone in the shape of a hat.

You can make a paddle applique in the shape of a mushroom. This simple craft is made from several mushroom silhouettes. The silhouettes have the same shape. They all fold in half lengthwise - like little books. And they come together - sticking together with side blades.

You can also make this mushroom craft with your own hands (photo below). A square of paper is folded into arrow folds. And it randomly fits onto a sheet of paper. On the back of the sheet is a silhouette of a mushroom. After the entire silhouette is covered with folded pieces, take scissors and cut out the silhouette. We get an interesting relief mushroom applique - as in the photo below.

Broken applique

on the topic MUSHROOM

for kindergarten.

All children love to make cut-out applique. If you are working with older children- then you can give them whole sheets of colored paper and they will make it themselves using the technique - first, the sheet is torn by hand into long narrow strips, then each strip is cut into pieces.

When working with middle group Kindergarten students can be given strips cut with scissors - and their task is to cut the long strips into pieces. Since at this age the ability to use scissors is being developed - and this is the most feasible exercise for chik-chik.

For younger children We give the garden group ready-made long strips of paper and they tear off small pieces themselves. And they also need to be given some of the sprinkles in a ready-made form.

This is what a cut-out mushroom applique looks like - made from scraps of paper.

This is what a sliced mushroom craft looks like - made from pieces of paper cut into pieces.

Loose applique

Craft mushroom.

Children also love working with cereals and other bulk natural materials. Below you see a children's craft, where a mushroom is made from three types of cereals. The stem is grains of rice, the upper part of the cap is buckwheat, and the lower part of the cap is small barley groats. The result was a very realistic craft. A little lower in this article - I will give a READY TEMPLATE for this application in kindergarten.

You can make a combined Mushroom craft - which will involve a cut-out appliqué, bulk material and a dry herbarium.

Below in the photo of the applique with a mushroom we see a similar child’s work. The stem of the mushroom is made using the cutting technique, the cap is a filling of ground dry leaves (or tea leaves). And a dry leaf from the herbarium is decorated with fungus.

Bottom crafts you can decorate with forest moss. The moss must first be dried on a radiator in a group and then it attaches well to the plasticine.

Templates

for precipitous and bulk

applications with mushroom.

Here are ready-made silhouette templates for making mushrooms in kindergarten classes. Pictures can be copied onto a regular sheet of Word, stretched with the mouse to the size you need and printed.

And here are a couple of clever coloring pages from the HIDE-AND-HIDE series. If you decorate the elements of leaves and mushrooms correctly, then it will be clearly clear what exactly is drawn here. It is important not to confuse a mushroom with a leaf and decorate everything correctly.

Also copy the picture onto a Word sheet - stretch it to the desired size - and print it on a printer.

DIY mushrooms

Using the QUILING technique.

You can also make beautiful mushroom crafts using the paper rolling technique. They look very elegant.

You can make the simplest quilling shapes with your own hands. Just tightly twisted windings of narrow strips of colored paper. Give the twists an oval stem shape and a rounded mushroom cap shape. And you will get a neat miniature craft.

You can make more complex forms consisting of several modules. Older children can cope with this task. This requires painstaking perseverance and leisurely accuracy.

You can make three-dimensional modules from twisted paper - by stretching the twisted paper into a cylinder - and then you will get a 3D mushroom craft.

DIY mushrooms

using origami technique.

You can fold an origami module from a square of colored paper in 20 seconds. Make a lot of such modules. And assemble them with your own hands, like from a construction set, into a voluminous mushroom.

You can make complex crafts with children of primary school age during school classes - mushrooms using the origami assembly technique.

Below I am posting a step-by-step master class on how to create such a fly agaric mushroom craft. Using the same technique, you can also make boletus mushrooms with brown caps (for beauty, you can glue an autumn leaf to the top and a piece of dry moss to the bottom).

Mushroom based

A roll of cardboard.

And here are crafts where the mushroom stem is made from a toilet paper roll.

The cap of such a mushroom is made in the form of a pocket - that is, two contours of the cap are cut out and glued to each other AT THE EDGES. The center remains unglued and can open like a pocket - and with this pocket you can put it on a roll.

Below we see different versions of crafts using this technique.

You can make mushroom caps from the bottoms of plastic bottles. Trim, paint with red gouache and here you have a fun craft for children in the shape of mushrooms.

You can make the rolls yourself from cardboard. The size you need. For example, small ones so that they match the size of mushroom caps made from halves of walnut shells (as in the photo below).

Craft mushroom

Using the PAPIER-MACHE technique.

I have already given a detailed master class on how to quickly and easily make papier-mâché dough from a cardboard egg cassette, soaked in boiling water.

Mushrooms sculpted using this technique look like real ones. They are hard and difficult to break or tear. Children can play with them.

First, we make these mushrooms from papier-mâché (paper dough). Then we dry them and decorate them with a special composition.

Very detailed step-by-step master class I published how to make such paper pulp using boiling water and an egg cassette in an article where we made APPLES using this recipe, they also looked like they were alive. Here is a link to this lesson

DIY mushrooms

from felt and felt.

In elementary sewing lessons in elementary school, you can make simple flat mushroom crafts from felt.

You can sew mushrooms from ordinary fabric. Which you found at home - chintz, plush, cotton.

And if you are into felting, you can make fluffy felt mushroom crafts. Like in the photo below.

We buy wool for felting. Pour into a bowl warm water. Add to it liquid soap. Dip a piece of wool into soapy water and begin sculpt it with your hands under water, We sculpt the shape we need from plasticine. We roll it in our hands, iron it - from warm water and friction of our hands, the felt easily knits into a dense lump under water - the shape we need. We take it out and dry it. It turns out to be a part - a hat or a leg. I got what I sculpted. Working with felt is a pleasure - things come out very quickly and easily.

You can not sculpt the felt under water - but comb it with a felting needle. This fly agaric applique is made from needle felting inside a frame bounded by a zipper.

We cut off a regular metal zipper with scissors next to the teeth. We sew this scalloped tape onto a piece of fabric (a thin layer of felt or felt).

Now we put a red fiber inside this frame and comb it with a needle. Add pieces of white felt and comb the spot inside the red background.

Felt material can be used to make voluminous crafts. Whole meadows with mushrooms.

These are simple and quick ideas for children's crafts on the topic of Mushrooms.

Now you can choose a convenient mushroom craft for the age of your children and the purpose of the lesson with them.

Good luck with your work.

Instructions

The fly agaric costume looks bright and elegant, and it’s quite easy to make. You need a beige, white or yellowish shirt and trousers. Gather the sleeves and bottom of the pants with an elastic band. Draw blades of grass and leaves on green fabric or paper, cut them out and sew or glue to the bottom of the trousers. Make a shirtfront from red fabric with large white polka dots (you can draw polka dots on the fabric yourself). You can complement the fly agaric costume with a cape made of the same fabric.

For a girl, sew a fluffy red skirt and a white blouse. Decorate the cuffs and collar of the blouse with blades of grass made from green fabric. Decorate the hem of the skirt with an applique of mushrooms.

The main detail of the costume is the hat. The easiest option is to make a hat out of paper. Take thick paper: whatman paper, thin cardboard, cut out a circle with a radius of 40-45 cm, roll it into a cone and glue it together. Paint the hat red and scatter large white circles across the red field. Attach ribbon ties or an elastic band to the hat.

You can also make a fly agaric mushroom cap from an old felt or straw hat with a brim. Take a piece of red fabric and cover the frame. Paint large peas on the fabric with white acrylic paint.

Similarly to the fly agaric mushroom, you can make a children's boletus mushroom costume, the difference is in the color and shape of the hat. A white shirt, brown trousers and vest will suit both. To make a hat, take foam rubber or batting; use a hat with a brim as a frame. Cover the crown with foam rubber to give it a convex-rounded shape and cover it with brown fabric. Line the inside of the hat with foam rubber trimmed with white fabric.

A more complex option is a beret-shaped hat. From white or beige fabric, cut out a base - a strip 10 cm wide and a length equal to the circumference of your head. Fold it in half and line it with adhesive fabric to give it shape. Cut the top of the hat into a circle from brown fabric and cut the same circle from light fabric. Cut a hole in light fabric with a diameter equal to the circumference of your head. Place the circles right sides together and sew them together, then turn them inside out. Similarly, cut out the lining and connect it to the top.

We had a matinee in our kindergarten, in which
girls should be flowers, and boys should be mushrooms. So, to the parents of sons
I needed to make a mushroom hat for my baby. The simplest and smallest
It's a costly way to make a mushroom out of paper. So what things will you need to do?
mushroom cap?

  • Whatman
  • Scissors
  • Glue (you can use any one, but I prefer the “Crystal” moment,
because it grips any material very firmly and quickly, plus it
transparent, that is, the excess that has come out will not be visible).
  • Red paint (I took gouache)
  • Wide brush (I painted with a construction brush -
It’s wide enough and comfortable, and I didn’t have to spend any money).
  • Sintepon (optional)
  • Hat elastic (bought once, still
helps out; Alternatively, you can do without it, replacing it with two knits).

The first problem I encountered was how
draw a circle without a compass? The circle is quite large, about 50 centimeters in
diameter I would hardly have been able to handle such a compass, and I didn’t have one at home.
Therefore, if you want draw an even circle without a compass You will need:

  • Pin
  • Thread
  • Pencil

The radius of the fungus is 25 centimeters. Cut the thread
10 centimeters longer. At one end attach the thread to a pin, at the other
to the pencil.

Place the pin in the center
(you can stick it in, you can hold it with your fingers). Hold the pencil strictly vertically, that is, perpendicular to the Whatman paper.

Try to draw a circle in one or two movements.
Did Rovny come out?

Cut out the circle. Then we outline the sector needed for
cutting. Draw a radius from the center. We retreat 10-15 centimeters from it and set aside the second radius. Don't forget to leave centimeters
3-5 for gluing. This is what it looks like for me.

You can cut one radius and
bend the mushroom as needed. And only then mark the line of the second
cutout, forgetting about the hem for gluing.

Do not make the cutout sector too small -
the fungus will appear flat. If you make the cutout too big, you will succeed.
not a fungus, but a cap.

Glue the fungus together and give the glue time, well
dry.

Afterwards you will need to figure out how to use the mushroom hat
will stay on the child's head. I prefer hat elastic. Try it on
child, how many rubber bands are needed. Also cut off 10 centimeters more.

I was faced with a whole dilemma, how to attach
hat elastic for the cap. If you make banal knots at the ends of the elastic, then
they will cut through whatman paper sooner or later anyway. Despite the fact that whatman paper
It’s quite thick, whatever one may say, it’s paper. And from the friction of the rope, the edges will begin to cut through. Upset
I didn’t want a child with a torn fungus and flying knitting. And that's what I
came up with it.

Having inserted the strings from both sides into the mushroom hat,
At the ends I tied some kind of figure eights out of rope.

I straightened them out well.
I cut out rectangles from paper and glued our eights. Now the tips
will hold tightly and will not cut through the paper.

To be even more reliable, we make a “crown” like this around the circumference of the child’s head.

First, cut out a strip from whatman paper. Measure around the child's head and glue it together. Cut a fringe at the end. Glue it from the inside to the mushroom cap.

Now the hat will definitely not fall off!

You can also attach a padding polyester to the fungus
backing from the inside to make it look more interesting. But if you don't have it at hand
padding polyester, then don’t worry and skip this point. And whoever has it, we cut it out
a padding polyester strip about five centimeters wide around the circumference of your fungus.

Lubricate the fungus from the inside with glue and glue it
padding polyester

Then start painting. Don't you dare
paint whatman paper until you have glued it together, attached knitting and padding polyester!!! So
How does pre-painted Whatman paper stick and stain your fingers?
it will smear, and you will turn your hands into gouache. Snow-white synthetic padding
will remain in red stains and traces of your fingers!

Color the fungus to suit your taste.

We chose fly agaric. He
bright, beautiful and looks unusual. In addition, white specks can be sealed
those places where the ends of the elastic are attached. If you make a mushroom cap
brown, then you can stick leaves or butterflies with
beetles.

When working with paint, do not pour in
glass too much water. Otherwise it will take a lot more paint. Convenient at first
From below, around the perimeter, paint around the very edge of the mushroom, and then paint from
tops down. It will turn out very smooth. Did you paint it? Give the mushroom time
dry.

Then cut out white specks from the remains of whatman paper for
fly agaric, with a diameter of 5-7 centimeters. You can do it bigger. To your taste! This time, in order to draw circles without using a compass, I used the upside-down neck of a glass.

Do not forget
glue them to the places where the hat elastic is attached.

All! The mushroom hat is ready.

On
The craft took me a little less than an hour.

How to make a mushroom hat for a costume with your own hands?

How to make a mushroom hat for a costume with your own hands?

To build a mushroom cap in a mushroom costume, you will need an ordinary straw sun hat, filling (you can take insulation for windows), fabric that will be used to cover the cap, as well as decorations - take a leaf (preferably a maple leaf, it looks best) and the appropriate color colored paper.

You can watch the master class below

  • The easiest way to make a mushroom cap is to glue it from a sheet of Whatman paper in the manner of a Vietnamese round hat with a triangular crown. We paint it brown or paint it like a fly agaric. Attach strings to the hat on the left and right and you're done.

A mushroom hat for a children's costume can be made from an ordinary old hat. Or you can buy a cheap hat at stores like Fixprice. We glue cardboard onto the hat to make a cone. You can paint the cardboard red, stick on white circles - this is how you get a mushroom - fly agaric - a bright and beautiful mushroom. Then you will need to attach strings to the bottom of the hat with Moment glue so that the hat does not fall off the child. As an option, you can sew a mushroom from an unnecessary synthetic padding pillow.

You can take an old soft felt hat or some other soft material, but one that will keep its shape (preferably a woman’s hat, because the brim is wider). Foam can be added to the brim of the hat to create a mushroom cap shape (more rounded than a regular hat). Cover the top with stretch synthetic fabric (I took an old bright red T-shirt). We stretch it over the formed hat, and fasten the edges of the fabric inside the hat. If you are making a fly agaric, then along the inner edge of the brim, where the seam is, you can trim it with a white frill. I simply cut out the white circles on the fly agaric from white self-adhesive paper. It turned out well. Even my son liked it and wore it to his kindergarten party with pleasure.

We did it a year ago, and my husband and I swore a lot then. We made it out of cardboard, rolled it into a cone, expanded the cone over the child’s head, stapled it together, covered it first with just white paper, and then we took red self-adhesive film and pasted it over it, painted large white circles with paint, and it turned out to be a fly agaric. I stapled an elastic band to the side. I saw other mothers covering it with fabric at the matinee. It turned out well, but the task was not easy. Good luck!

You can make a mushroom cap for a costume. Some take the path of least resistance. From an existing hat or beret, make a mushroom cap, trimming the headdress at your discretion.

You can make your own hat shape out of cardboard.

For example, as shown in the figure.

I agree, a detail like the hat makes the whole mushroom costume. There is a beautiful hat - the costume is almost ready. Complement it with a dark turtleneck and dark trousers or a bright shirt and trousers, trim it with leaves - and you have a wonderful Mushroom.

A similar hat, as in the photo, can be made on the basis of an old straw hat. Here's how it's done:

And you can make a large, beautiful, almost real Mushroom hat using this video tutorial. It will take more time, but your baby will be the star of the children's party. And you won’t go unnoticed wearing such a hat.

The main thing is to boldly get down to business. And everything will be wonderful!

  • You can make this mushroom hat yourself from cardboard.

We need whatman paper and paints.

We cut out a circle with a sector from whatman paper and fold it like a cap.

The mushroom will look more interesting if you glue a padding polyester backing to it.

The mushroom is held on by a string.

  • A mushroom cap can be made from an ordinary straw cap. How to do this is shown in this video:

Here's another master class. I suggest making a hat like this:

    You will need:

    • foam rubber (50 by 140) five centimeters thick,
    • brown fabric size 70 by 70,
    • light fabric measuring 50 by 50,
    • cotton fabric size 35 by 50,
    • green fabric measuring 20 by 30.

First, cut out circles from foam rubber. The first circle should be 50 centimeters in diameter. Next, we cut ovals in the circles, focusing on the size of the child’s head. Let's add all the circles to make a pyramid.

All circles are sewn by hand. We cut out a circle from brown fabric, while focusing on the height of the pyramid. Cut out a circle for the bottom of the hat with a diameter of 50 centimeters. We cut an oval in the middle of this circle (the circumference of the child’s head minus four centimeters).

We sew the two fabrics together, placing them right sides together. Leave a hole for the foam rubber. We turn it inside out and carefully insert the foam rubber.

Now let's sew a hat, part of the inside of the hat. Cut out a rectangle (35 by 10), and two semicircles (base 18 by 35). Connect the semicircles with the rectangle. Now we manually sew the cap into the fungus.

Now all that remains is to make a decoration for the hat in the form of a leaf.

The mushroom cap can be anything, since there is a huge variety of mushrooms. For example, you have a boletus costume or a butter dish, which means you can sew a beret-type hat. And for more naturalness, you can glue real or paper-cut leaves to this hat -

Only if you take the pattern and enlarge it slightly, you will get a rather large beret, which can be filled with padding polyester inside. This will give the mushroom cap volume. At the same time, it will not be difficult for the child - the padding polyester is light.

Alternatively, you can use this pattern:

You can also make a mushroom cap based on a paper cone.

For example, for fly agaric or toadstool, such a base would be the best choice.

And if you want something unusual, then I will offer the option of creating a mushroom cap using the papier-mâché technique. This option is complicated, but the result will be excellent.

For such a hat, it is best to take a medium-sized basin or saucepan. We also use old newspaper, PVA glue (dilute it a little with water), white paper or, better yet, napkins.

We turn the dishes over and start covering them with newspapers (it’s better to tear them into squares). You can make up to ten layers, but five will be enough. The white layer is the last. Let the workpiece dry well and make a brim for the cap using a strip of paper or cardboard five centimeters wide.

We paint it brown or the color you want and get the result as in the first photo.

How to sew a mushroom hat for a child

With the arrival of golden autumn, themed matinees begin in kindergartens. Children, teachers and parents celebrate together the beloved “Autumn Festival”. It is unlikely that such an event would be complete without the presence of the handsome man Mushroom. Check out some cute looks.

Next is the master class of the “second life of things” channel. Its presenter is Iren-TV. If you decide to follow the master, watch the video. Or limit yourself to a job description. In the second part there are a few more options for your imagination.

Everything you need for a mushroom - headdress

Master Class. Carnival costume “Boletus Mushroom”

From the Author: “New Year is a wonderful holiday with a lot of joyful chores - gifts, festive table menu - everything needs to be thought out, bought, made! And, of course, an important part of the holiday is carnival costumes!

My friend’s sons, twin first-graders, are participating in a New Year’s performance. The characters, I must say, they got some intricate ones - “Boletus Mushroom” and “Komarik”! A friend tried to buy suits, but it turned out that finding beautiful suits in the right size was not so easy! As a result, I made the “Mushroom” costume.

So, “Boletus Mushroom”... I’ll say right away that other “mushrooms” can be made in this way. For example, "Amanita".

The costume consists of a hat, trousers, turtleneck and cape. This option is suitable for both boys and girls. The costume is quite simple to make. The materials are also easy to choose. In a mushroom costume, “it’s all in the hat”!

    For production we will need:

    • a hat with a wide brim (preferably with a hat braid along the inside of the crown). It is important that the brim of the hat is not curved!!!
    • brown fabric - 0.6 m
    • fabric (preferably knitwear) white or light beige - 0.5 m
    • proclamelin (can be replaced with white calico or non-adhesive interlining)
    • 0.8 m - synthetic padding (you can use scraps)
    • 0.5 m - brown and white threads, scissors, needle, pins, measuring tape or ruler;
    • wish. patience and time" ...

    Master class review

    01. First, we select a suitable hat. We “found” straw in the pantry, but felt would also work. There are plenty of suitable, inexpensive hats on sale.

    02. Let's start cutting the top and bottom parts of the hat. We put the hat on a brown fabric (I picked up the lining - a good, calm shine and inexpensive) and outline it with chalk. Then add 8-10 cm around the circumference and draw a circle.

Let's cut it out. This is the top part of the mushroom.

    03. For the lower part we take white or light beige fabric. To simplify the work, it is better to use knitwear. In the future, we will need to “clean” the hole for the head, so the fabric must be elastic. You can use an old T-shirt to great effect (and it's great if it's no longer stark white!).

So we put the hat on a white cloth, outline it with chalk, then add 3-4 cm and draw a circle. Cut it out.

Why are we adding less than the top circle? The volume of the top part of the hat will increase significantly during the “mushroom formation”.

Turning the hat over, place a white circle on it and mark a hole for the head with chalk. Don't forget to add 3-5 cm to the hem! It’s better to make extra stock - then we’ll adjust it. Cut a hole.

We're done with the cutting - let's move on to the next stage.

    04. Next, “form a mushroom.” To do this, we take padding polyester - we used scraps - and “loose” it.

    05. We cover the hat with padding polyester, capturing the edges of the hat.

The result is something like this.

    06. Now we take proclamelin (or white calico - you can use an outdated pillowcase, for example) and cut out a circle 10-15 cm larger than our blank. The size of the circle should be enough for this. to completely wrap the hat.

We cover the hat with a proclamelin, aligning the center of the circle and the center of the hat. Using pins, pin the proclemelin to the padding polyester along the edges of the fields. Turn the hat over. We lay a thin layer of padding polyester on the back of the hat brim.

Now you need to secure the proclamation along the edge of the crown from the wrong side. We lay the folds and pierce them with pins.

    07. We cut off the excess fabric.

We sew the proclamelin with large stitches to the hat.

    08. We got this mushroom shape.

This preparation is also suitable for fly agaric.

    09. And we continue to sculpt the boletus. Take the previously cut brown circle (top of the hat). Place it on the mushroom, aligning the center of the workpiece and the circle. Pin along the edges.

    10. We turn it over and from the back of the hat, evenly (step - 4-5 cm), attach the fabric with pins to the workpiece. The fabric should go around the edges of the hat with a margin of 2-3 cm.

To ensure that the fabric lies evenly, first pin the pins crosswise, then divide the circle into eight parts, etc.

    11. Now the fabric needs to be carefully sewn around the circumference with an “over the edge” seam.

The hem margin should look like this.

    13. Important! Before cutting off the excess, check the alignment of the head hole! I always remind you: “Measure seven times...”.

    14. After this, you can and should pin the fabric around the circumference with pins in increments of 4-5 cm. We do it this way - we bend the light fabric, overlapping the seam on the brown one. The principle is the same - criss-cross, etc.

    16. All that remains is to process the hole for the head. We make small notches around the circumference.

    17. Then, bending the fabric, we pin it with pins.

    18. We were lucky - our hat has a hat band, which makes finishing the edge much easier.

If you choose a hat without a braid, sew a hat braid or any elastic one along the edge of the crown from the inside - it will be much easier to sew knitwear to it.

This is what it looks like.

    19. And, the final touch - we sew the jersey to the hat braid with a hidden seam.

It is quite inconvenient to trim a hat around the crown from the inside. That is why it is better to use elastic fabric or knitwear - it turns out smooth and neat!

    20. One more small nuance: the carnival hat should fit tightly on the child’s head (after all, he will jump, run or dance!), and, at the same time, not squeeze the head. If your hat is slightly larger than the required size, lay a strip of synthetic padding of suitable thickness along the edge of the crown before finishing the inner edge.

Now let's look at the result!

    21. Well, the most important part of the costume - the hat - is ready. There is only one small thing left - to dress the child!

A matching white turtleneck was found in the children's wardrobe. It can be replaced with a light shirt or long-sleeved T-shirt.

The cape shirt front was “inherited” from the previous costume. In principle, you can cut such a cape from any suitable piece of fabric and sew on ribbon ties. Or choose a light vest.

But I sewed the trousers from the same jersey as the inside of the hat. Again, after rummaging through your wardrobe, you will probably find some light-colored trousers or jeans; and leggings are also suitable for girls.

The “Basic Set” has been assembled. Let's add accents. I added "grass" to the bottom of the pants. For this I needed yarn, which is called “grass”. The color is brown-green melange (very suitable for boletus!).

We randomly lay out the grass along the bottom of the trousers by hand or in a large zigzag on a machine. If you “accent” your child’s jeans or trousers, which he will continue to wear in the future, it is better to sew on the decor by hand - this will save the fabric and make it easier to rip off later.

    22. I also added “along the blade of grass” along the edge of the cape and along the sleeves of the turtleneck. Slightly….

    23. You can choose a different yarn, both in color and texture. You can also use braid, cord, fringe, etc. for decoration...

Imagine! And don’t forget to wear appropriate shoes for your child! Every little detail is important in a suit!

Happy carnival to your child and success in your creativity!

Mushroom Hat | Country of Masters

Hello! In kindergarten they asked me to sew a mushroom cap for a matinee. Now the hat is ready, but while its owner is sleeping, let’s try it on a leopard, who kindly agreed to be a model.

I took a dragon hat that I sewed for a New Year’s costume, covered it with a brown piece of stretch velor on top, and cut it out in a circle without a pattern, by eye.
On the bottom side there is beige knitwear, or rather, scraps of an old T-shirt left over from sewing the same New Year's dragon costume (I'm very glad I didn't throw it away). The bottom side was outlined exactly according to the kennel of the hat. The corner was not enough, it had to be finished, but the idea was born to disguise the seam with a cobweb!

Here is such a miracle hanging on a cobweb. I drew it with a CD/DVD marker.

I basted both halves (I first gathered the velor into gathers) and stitched from the inside out. The assemblies, as it turned out later, were unnecessary.

    That's how it happened.

And this is the other side.

I turned it inside out and threaded the hat (1) into the middle of the piece (2). This was not difficult, because... My hat is soft, fabric and folds easily.

Inside, I straightened the hat well and turned both hats inside out. I basted the edge and added synthetic balls to the middle (borrowed from a pillow).

Now, everything is ready, all that remains is to turn it inside out and sew the edge of the knitwear around the neckline for the head.

View from below. I sewed on an elastic band simply because they asked for it in kindergarten, although even without it the hat holds tightly and will not fall off, even while dancing.

Now I'm decorating. This is an adhesive base for knitwear, which I ironed in 4 layers to small pieces of yellow and orange fabric, cut out leaves from them.

I drew the veins with a brown felt-tip pen and attached the leaves to the hat in several places with thread. It turned out like this. The leaves are soft and can be shaped into any shape.

For the ladybug, I cut out a small circle from red knitwear, added a synthetic ball (all from the same pillow) in the middle, sewed it around the edge, and tied the thread.

The head was formed with threads, in several stitches, pulling the edge on one side of the ladybug. I separated the wings with one large stitch. To get dots, I wrapped the thread around the needle three times, then returned the needle to the puncture site.

The spider is clearly happy with such a neighbor!

    Well, let's spin...

    Thank you for your attention!

    It suits me too!!!

How to make a fly agaric hat for a children's party with your own hands?

Kindergarten teachers sometimes set difficult tasks for parents. The greatest bewilderment among most mothers and fathers is the requirement to make some kind of themed masquerade costumes. And if it is still possible to select clothes for a particular look from a child’s wardrobe, then not every parent knows how to make a fly agaric hat or cat ears for a matinee.

Simple option: made of cardboard and paper

If the matinee is very soon, and there is no time to sew a complex hat for a mushroom, try making it from scrap stationery materials. A fly agaric hat made of paper or cardboard will turn out no worse than a textile one if you put in a little effort. Cut a circle from whatman paper of a suitable diameter. Make a slot in it along the radius and glue it so that you get a low cone. Another option is to make 4-5 cuts and glue them all together with a gentle spatula. Wait until the piece dries and paint it red. Your paper fly agaric hat is almost ready, all that remains is to attach the strings and stick a circle of white paper on the top. Using the same technique, a hat can be made directly from red cardboard. Attention - be sure to arrange a fitting at the preparation stage. And only if the size of the headdress suits you, move on to the decor.

    Recycling an old hat

It’s very easy to make a fly agaric hat from some unnecessary carnival decoration. The most important thing is that the original hat is the right size for the child and has a hard brim. The base must be covered with foam rubber, giving it the shape of a mushroom. You can do this arbitrarily by attaching separate small pieces of material to the brim of the hat. The workpiece is ready, and you like its shape. How to make a fly agaric hat from such a base? It's very simple - cover the bottom side with white or light beige fabric. The top of the headdress should be covered with red material. The final stage is to attach an elastic band or ribbons to secure the headdress and do not forget about decorative circles made of white fabric. Helpful advice: you can also decorate your headdress with elements cut out of white paper.

We sew according to all the rules

For those who know at least a little sewing and are willing to spend some time making a fancy dress costume, our instructions on how to make a fly agaric hat from fabric and scrap materials will be useful. You will need polyethylene foam; it can be purchased at hardware stores. On this material we draw a circle, the size of which is equal to the diameter of the future hat, and in its center a second smaller circle, equal to the circumference of the child’s head. We cut out this part and make several more from the same material. We fasten the individual elements together. Next we need to give the top of the cap a bulge. To do this, we lay layers of foam rubber. An alternative option is to create the correct shape: make cuts and glue polyethylene foam, as in the case of making a hat from cardboard.

Every year in December, New Year's Eve at school or kindergarten is approaching, and of course you are concerned about making your own New Year's costume for your child. And if, by a lucky chance, your son or daughter has the role of a boletus mushroom or a cute one, then our master class will certainly be of help to you. After all, the master who created the image of a mushroom for his child took not only good photos, but also described step by step the entire process of creating a boletus carnival costume.

How to sew a boletus mushroom costume for the New Year: MK with photo

In order to make such a beautiful New Year's outfit for your baby you will need:

    • foam rubber 5 cm thick and 50 x 140 cm in size.
    • (you can replace foam rubber with synthetic padding if you make a cardboard base for the mushroom cap);
    • brown fabric for the top of the hat measuring 70 x 70 cm;
    • light beige fabric for the bottom of the hat measuring 50 x 50 cm;
    • cotton fabric for the inside of a hat measuring 35 x 50 cm;
    • milky white fabric for overalls measuring 150 x 70 cm.
    • a piece of green fabric for a leaf measuring 20x30 cm;
    • several spools of thread to match the color of the fabric;
    • tinsel for decoration 2 meters long.

    DIY boletus mushroom cap

    1) Let's prepare the details: cut out the first circle from foam rubber, corresponding to the base of the desired hat. I have the first circle with a diameter of 50 cm, cut off the upper edge of the foam rubber disk at an angle, rounding it. Let's make a blank for the second disk, cutting it to the size of the cut edge. Using the same principle, we will prepare the third disk.

    2) Cut out the center of the disks, focusing on the circumference of the child’s head. To do this, in the center of the first circle, draw an oval, the perimeter of which is equal to the circumference of the child’s head plus 2 cm. Cut out the oval and try the blank on the child. If suddenly the slot for the head turns out to be too large, it is possible to correct it by making the slot in the next disk smaller.

    3) - 4) Let’s fold all the foam blanks into a “pyramid”. Let's make a fourth disc without a slot, forming a mushroom hat.

    5) Combine all the disks so that the slots for the head in the form of ovals coincide.
    6) Manually sew the discs at the edge, connecting them tightly to each other.
    7) Cut out a circle from brown fabric (I have wide striped corduroy) for the top of the hat, focusing on the height of the “pyramid”.
    8) Let’s make the same circle from beige fabric (I have narrow striped corduroy) for the bottom of the hat with a diameter of 50 cm. Let’s make a slot in the center for the head in the form of an oval, the perimeter of which is equal to the circumference of the child’s head minus 4 cm, and finish the edge overlock slots.

    9) - 10) Sew two pieces of fabric, folding them with their right sides facing each other. When stitching, carefully align the edges, making small folds in the brown fabric. Turn the hat blank right side out.
    11) - 12) Roll the foam as tightly as possible into a roll, put it in a fabric hat and carefully straighten it, aligning the slots for the child’s head.

    13) Sew a “hat” from cotton fabric for the inside of the hat. To do this, we will cut three blanks: a rectangle 10 cm wide and 35 cm long and two identical semicircles with an arc length of 35 cm and a base equal to 18 cm.
    14) Place two lines, folding the fabric with the right side inward, connecting two semicircles with a rectangle along the edge of 35 cm.
    15) - 16) Place the “cap” into the hat so that the edges of the rectangle (the middle part of the “cap”) coincide with the narrowest parts of the oval slot for the head. We sew on the “cap” by hand.

    17) Fold the green fabric with the right side inward and cut out a leaf - a decoration for the hat.
    18) Sew the edge of the leaf blank without completing the stitch by 2 - 3 cm in order to turn it right side out.
    19) Sew the leaf to the hat, making fastenings in several places.
    20) Let's make a decoration for the hat in the form of two tinsel balls.

    21) Fold the fabric for the overalls (I have fleece) with the right side facing inward and make a basting according to the pattern with a seam allowance of 5 mm. Let's cut the fabric.
    22) - 23) Place the front and back halves of the overalls face down and finish the seams with an overlocker. We will also process the armholes, the lower edge of the trouser legs and the neckline.
    24) Turn the overalls right side out.

    25) Hand sew tinsel into the neckline.
    26) Cut out a pocket from the remnants of beige fabric and process the cut using an overlocker.
    27) - 28) Sew a pocket to the overalls and decorate it with tinsel.

The wonderful New Year's boletus mushroom outfit is ready!
