Braided hairstyles. The best braided hairstyles with step-by-step photos Stylish braided hairstyles

This season, all hairstyles revolve around braids and weaves. We offer chic openwork evening hairstyle with braided elements, presented in the sixth book by Patrick Cameron, a famous hairdresser. She will teach us, step by step, how to create a braided hairstyle. This time, Patrick offers a very feminine hairstyle that is ideal for girls with long hair. Let's celebrate the Year of the Dragon in a chic way!

Instructions for creating an evening hairstyle with braided elements

Step 1. In order for the evening hairstyle to be voluminous, the hair should be wavy. If you have natural curls, then proceed to the next step, and if you have straight curls, first curl them with curling irons or curlers. To make it more convenient to create weaving elements, apply a suitable fixation product to your hair.

Divide your hair into an even parting, larger on the right side. Tie part of the hair on the left side into a ponytail using an elastic band. Now, divide the ponytail into two sections and twist each into a plait towards the face.

Now, start making a braid of two strands (the same as you created from the ponytail), and constantly grab the hair from below and above, similar to a French braid. It will be a little difficult on your own, but you can use a mirror or ask a friend to practice on you.

Continue twisting the strands and adding new ones along the entire length of your head and so on until the end. Secure the tourniquet with an elastic band.

Add volume and delicacy to your hair strands. To do this, carefully remove the strands from them, as shown in the photo. Grasping a thin strand at the end of the bundle, pull it up a little. The volume should increase approximately 3-4 times.

Patrick created a line along which the openwork weave would run using bobby pins. Secure the side strands of the tourniquet along this particular line with bobby pins. Fold the left part of the hairstyle up in half and attach it to the base.

The tip of the right volumetric tourniquet is also folded in half, lifted up and secured with bobby pins or hairpins. The hairstyle should resemble an unfinished drawing of a heart. All that remains is to decorate the evening hairstyle with braided elements with hairpins with pearls or stones.

A hairstyle with braided elements is well suited for long, medium and also short hair. Hairstyles based on braided hair, decorated with a ribbon or flowers, a fashionable headband or tiara, decorative pins or an elegant hair clip, will always help to create a sensual or romantic, and maybe even daring look. Weaving comes in different types; it can give an elegant, sophisticated or voluminous shape to the hair, sometimes unusual, intricate, but the aesthetic effect is amazing. Be it evening, wedding or braided hairstyles for every day. From which we draw a simple conclusion: such styling is designed not only for occasions of celebrations and holidays, but is also suitable for everyday life.

HOW TO DO A SINGLE-STRAIN BRAID WITH A RIBBON FOR LONG HAIR

  1. Separate a strand of hair and secure it under or next to it with a ribbon.
  2. Move a section of hair slightly to the left and form a loop. Wrap the ribbon around the loop of hair: place the ribbon ON the loop, UNDER it from bottom to top. Now the strand of hair is on the right and the ribbon is on the left.*
  3. Add a braid of loose hair to the right side of the hair section. Form a new loop of hair from right to left. Wrap the ribbon around the loop - place the ribbon ON the strand of hair, UNDER it and from top to bottom. Next, extend the eye of the loop as far as the length of your hair allows. And pull the resulting braid link as close as possible to the previous one.
  4. Continue braiding, repeating nn.2-3, adding braids each time a strand of hair is wrapped around the ribbon, and pulling out the side “links”.

* You can wrap a strand of hair in the opposite direction, that is, place the ribbon UNDER the strand of hair, then ON it and from top to bottom. Then the braid pattern will turn out a little different.

Introduction:

Hairstyle is an important element of a person’s appearance. Creating a hairstyle is creating a whole and complete image of each person. On the one hand, hairdressing is an exact science that needs to be studied like mathematics.

Hairstyle has been and remains a kind of passport of a person. Profession fashion designer - the artist requires from a person diligence, painstakingness and, to a large extent, creative, creative consciousness, as well as constant self-improvement.

Daily work in the salon on modern images makes it possible to thoroughly understand the silhouettes and shapes of hairstyles, the nature of their details, the peculiarities of the execution technique, both pre-treatment of hair and combing, the direction of strands and their combinations.

Creative, thoughtful work “from the chair” allows you to always “keep your finger on the pulse of the times” and take into account the nature of the changes taking place in world fashion. With the advent of the new season, many women have a desire to change something in their lives.

Hairdressing is one of the oldest human activities, which is aimed primarily at improving one’s appearance. The development and improvement of hairdressing art is closely connected with the evolution of human society, changes in living conditions, and an increase in the level of general culture.

We will talk about the most interesting and popular weaves. By creating braided hairstyles, you can show your creativity and find your own unique style.

Based on the above, the main goal of this course work is formulated: to determine the type of braids and become familiar with the types of braids. Based on the goal, when writing the work it is necessary to determine the main objectives of the research: - to identify the technique of performing the braid; - identify all types of braids; - explore types of braids; - explore ideas and technologies for everyday hairstyles using weaving. The object of the study is braids and their types of weaving in everyday hairstyles.

Any hairstyle usually consists of separate hairstyle elements having a specific shape and performed using special methods and techniques.

The most common and simple element of a hairstyle is a parting and curl, but it is difficult to imagine hairstyles without waves and crowns, without braiding (braids) or buns, bangs, “babette” (backcomb with lining), plaits, etc.

1. Parting- This is a straight line dividing the hair into equal or unequal parts.

Traditionally, the parting runs from the edge of the hairline to the highest point of the head.

There are partings:

¨ straight(the parting divides the hair into two equal parts);

¨ lateral(hair is divided into two unequal parts and most often runs from the frontal notch to the highest point of the head)

¨ curly(consists of several straight lines forming a different pattern).

You can also find half parting- This is a shortened parting line. It can also be straight, side and curly.

2. Curl This is a strand of hair curled into a tube.

According to their location, curls are divided into:

¨ vertical (strands are separated vertically);

¨ horizontal (strands are separated horizontally);

¨ bleeds (strands are wound, separating them from the bundle).

Curls are also distinguished by the methods and techniques of hair curling - curled up, down, figure eight, half eight, ringed, tubular.

3. Wave- this is an element of a hairstyle, which is a smooth bend of the hair, limited on both sides by crowns.

In relation to the front part of the head, waves are:

¨ speakers(directed towards the face and extend beyond the marginal hairline);

¨ reverse(directed away from the face).

Depending on the location in relation to the parting, they distinguish:

¨ straight(placed parallel to the parting when laying);

¨ oblique(at an angle of 45° relative to the parting);

¨ transverse(perpendicular to the imaginary parting.

By size, waves are divided into:

¨ narrow and wide;

¨ shallow and deep (low, high).

It should be borne in mind that the narrower and deeper the wave, the longer it will retain its shape, and therefore the longer the optimal wave width is 2 cm. Large waves, as a rule, have a width of 5-6 cm.

4.Cron- this is the highest line of the wave along which a sharp bend of the hair occurs and where it changes its direction to the opposite. Cron separates one wave from another.

Crowns can be:

¨ low and high;

¨ narrow and wide.

It should be borne in mind that the narrower and higher the crowns, the longer the shape of the hairstyle is maintained.

5.Weaving (braid)- These are strands of hair intertwined in a certain way.

Traditional braiding is done in three strands, but modern hairstyles involve the use of four or more strands in a braid.

There are several types of weaving:

¨ invisible (ordinary);

¨ visible (reverse)

Modern competitive hairstyles involve complex weaving of 7-13 strands.

6.Bun - This is hair collected at one point in a strand of hair.

The beams can be located on any part of the head and their number can be different. They, as a rule, are the basis for future hairstyles.

7. Bangs- This is a strand of hair cut in the parietal area to the desired length. Bangs can be varied:

¨ straight;

¨ concave;

¨ convex;

¨ angle (triangular);

¨ figured (fantasy)

8. "Babette"- these are blunted strands of hair combed onto a lining (made of hair or foam rubber)

9. Tourniquet- This is a twisted strand of hair. The modern hairstyle element is typical for children's and youth hairstyles. When tightly twisted, secondary twisting of the bundle occurs, which, with a large number of strands, creates the effect of a “astrakhan” bundle.

10. “Shell” is a roll of hair, performed on pre-combed hair and curled in one direction.

These hairstyle elements are created either with the help of hands, using various tools and devices and equipment, as well as using combing and blunting techniques.

Combing- this is a dense beating of hair over the entire width and thickness of the treated strand.

Stupidization- fluffing the hair only half the thickness of the strand.

These techniques differ in that when combing, the strand is processed both from the inside and from the outside, and blunting can be thought of as part of the combing operation.

Sequence of combing:

1. When combing, having separated a strand of hair on the desired area of the head, grab it in the middle with the index and thumb or index and middle fingers of the left hand and pull it perpendicular to the surface of the head.

2. Next, holding the comb in an auxiliary manner, insert its teeth into the captured strand of hair at a distance of 5 - 6 cm from its base and, moving the comb towards the base of the strand, begin combing. The movement of the comb is stopped at the first feeling of braking, and then repeated again and again, introducing it into the strand 1-2 cm higher than in the previous row. In this case, the hand holding the strand of hair being combed gradually moves to the ends of the hair, and the comb slows down further and further.

further from its base.

3. Move your fingers along the strand and insert the comb into your hair once again in a coordinated manner. The movement of the comb is made as if in a circle and thus the strand of hair is processed on both sides.

When blunting, the treated strand of hair is not pulled perpendicular to the surface of the head, as when combing, but in the direction in which it will lie in the hairstyle. The comb is inserted into the hair so that its teeth do not protrude from the outside of the strand, i.e. the strand of hair is processed only from the side that will be the inside of the hairstyle.

Various types of braids in a woman’s image do not lose their relevance, so every girl should have the skills to work with them. The article offers you lessons on basic braiding techniques and hairstyles based on them: from everyday to wedding or children's.

Braiding

Regardless of the technology chosen, the hair must be properly prepared. Any braiding is carried out only on clean hair, otherwise the greasiness of the roots will instantly appear and the hairstyle will lack volume. It is recommended to iron the working strands during the process and spray them with a moisturizing spray or clean water to eliminate electrification. It is advisable to straighten the curls first, otherwise the weaving elements will be difficult to see.

Spikelet

A popular beach hairstyle for long blond hair, made from 2 strands, but requiring a lot of concentration and patience. Carefully study the step-by-step instructions and practice on someone else's hair, or start braiding a side braid so that you can see each step. Without control of actions, there is a high probability of getting confused at the very beginning.

  1. Pull your hair into a ponytail behind your ear.
  2. Divide in half, take a very thin (1/3-1/4 the thickness of your little finger) strand from each part from the outer edge.
  3. Cross them in the center, hold the meeting place with your fingers, and move the strands themselves under the main mass of hair at the back, changing places. The one that was on the right will be in the left half, and vice versa.
  4. Again, select a thin strand from the outer edges, slightly lower than the previous ones. Cross in the same way in the center, mix with the bulk of the hair.
  5. Repeat these steps, making sure to hold each new strand meeting point firmly.

French

There are several varieties of this simple hairstyle, familiar to many from school years, when mothers and grandmothers made us festive braids from the temples with bows:

  1. Comb your hair back and part it in half with a central parting. Take a triangle at your temple and divide it into 2 parts.
  2. Lay the right strand over the center one, swapping them. Then cross the left one over the center one.
  3. At the next stage, when the right one becomes working again, add a strand of free hair next to it.
  4. Repeat until this half of the hair is completely used. Bring the braid to the end, secure, repeat for the other side.

There is an alternative - “inverted” or “reverse” method, which is often called Danish. The braid turns out to be more voluminous, so this method is used for thin, not thick hair. The weaving pattern is identical to the original one, so it is not given step by step. The only difference is that the strands are wound under each other, and not overlapped on top.

Openwork

Beautiful, graceful, complex weaving. At first glance, only high-level masters can create hairstyles with braids of this type, but you can learn this on your own. If you study the master class in pictures or look at a regular photograph, you will notice that the standard technology is often used - for example, a 3-strand braid. The highlight is the design.

  1. Braid your hair the way you are used to, but don't make it too tight. Pay attention to the links: they must be the same along the entire length.
  2. Grasp the outer edge of any link with your fingers and gently pull it to the side so that it separates evenly. Repeat for each section of the braid, moving from top to bottom.

How to braid long hair

With such initial data, there is room to diverge: you can choose absolutely any option and hone your hairdressing skills to the point of victory. It is recommended to start with the classic braiding technique. Subsequently, they can be collected in bunches, knots, bows, or wrapped around the head like a wreath or crown. The only thing is that it is desirable that the haircut has an even cut, otherwise the weave will take on an untidy appearance.

  • An interesting hairstyle option is to make a classic 3-part braid, pulling a very thin strand from each link. Then, based on these strands, repeat the work according to the same instructions: you will get a “braid on a braid.”
  • Braided tourniquet around the head. To do this, take two thick strands at the temple, twist each of them clockwise, turning it into a tourniquet. Wrap them around each other once, but this time counterclockwise. Then add a new strand from the free mass, turn clockwise, add to the common strand.
  • The waterfall braid is very popular, the basis of which is classic French braiding. The trick is that the braid is laid horizontally, and the strand that ends up at the bottom is released. Adding a new part of hair is done only from the top. The hairstyle is completed with soft curls of loose hair.

For medium hair

If the length is insufficient (to the shoulder blades or above), there is no point in making complex weaving, since their beauty will not be revealed. Professionals advise paying attention to the low buns to which the plaits lead from the temples. An example of an ideal hairstyle with braids for medium hair is openwork braids braided from ponytails at the back of the head, gathered into a voluminous knot. It is recommended to avoid high braids, since the lower short strands of them often slip out, making the look untidy.

Fashionable braid hairstyles

In the last year, naturalness has become the main trend, so women's hairstyles are very careless, as simple as possible, and weaving has faded into the background. If braids are made for everyday life, at the end of the work, individual short strands are pulled out of them. If we consider braided hairstyles for an evening out, braids are just an additional element, an accent.

Wedding

The choice of hairstyle for a bride is often determined not only by the style of the dress, but also by the decision regarding the veil. If it is present, there is no point in performing complex original weaving - it will be hidden by the veil. For such cases, experts advise making a bun and, if necessary, adding a braid to the side. In the absence of a veil, you can choose any braided hairstyle, not forgetting the need to match the overall style.

Evening

Often, formal hairstyles with braiding are combined into a common block, which includes both ideas for a wedding and options for a simple evening out. According to professionals, there is no difference between them - everything needs to be based on the outfit. A dress that covers the neck requires pulling the hair up: make an unusual “wreath” of braids or a “crown” in 2 rows. For a dress with an open back, Greek braiding is suitable: twisted curls gathered in rows into a braid.

To graduation party

Graduating from school or university marks farewell to youth; a girl at this age is tender, and the image should be light. Pay attention to airy weaves with ribbon or flowers. Leave a few loose strands. You can make curls, braid them in a loose braid on the side and pull the strands to the sides. The hairstyle is simple to perform and does not overload the image.

Everyday

You can use any type of braids - from classic to checkerboard, but if you choose a braided hairstyle, do not accessorize it. For an office dress code (which also applies to educational institutions), this is bad form. Stick to simple hairstyles: for example, a high ponytail with the base wrapped in a braid. Or side strands from the temples, connected into a low knot or an inverted tail.

Children's

The hairstyle of a young fashionista often differs from that of an adult only in the level of complexity: a child can have a simple braid, decorate it with a funny hairpin or ribbon to create a holistic and harmonious look. It is important not to abuse the opportunity to demonstrate the skills of the master: a hairstyle for a girl must meet the requirement of practicality, because the child is very active. It is best to braid a “dragon” or a “crown”, taking the bangs.

Video

Even step-by-step instructions in photographs do not give a complete picture of the weaving process, so professionals advise that you be sure to study detailed video tutorials on technologies that you are not yet familiar with. You will be able to understand how to weave beautiful braids using different techniques and avoid common beginner mistakes. The online videos below show hairstyles for different hair lengths and several levels of complexity.

Autumn has arrived, and with it vitamin deficiency. Hair began to fade and fall out. How to stay on trend every day without getting upset about the dullness of your hair? Very simple. We present to you the best braided hairstyles for every day.

1. Braid with a twist

French braids, plaits and buns have long won the hearts of charming fashionistas. Weaving and styling for every taste are suitable for medium and long hair. In order to make your first hairstyle, you just need to braid a French braid with tiebacks at the back of your head. Upon completion of braiding, release the strands and tuck the remaining part of the hair, secure it with bobby pins.

2. Braid bun

For the second hairstyle, you need to collect your hair in a high ponytail. Then create a regular braid with three strands and let them out for more volume. If you have thick and long hair, then this is not necessary. Your hair will turn out voluminous and beautiful. Next, place the braid in a bun and secure with bobby pins and hairpins. For the final touch, straighten the resulting bun a little. Ready.

3. Jasmine

Stock up on thin elastic bands for your next hairstyle. You definitely saw her in the cartoon about Aladdin. After all, this is Princess Jasmine's braid. To start, make a regular bun by tying your top hair into a cute ponytail. Then separate the strands from the temples, connecting them to the main ponytail, securing with an elastic band, release the strands that form a hemisphere. Gather the remaining hair back into a ponytail and secure with an elastic band. Release the strands and make another ponytail. Do the same procedure as long as your hair is long enough, remembering to release the strands each time.

4. Bundle with plaits

Divide your hair into two parts. Separate a small strand from which you will need to make a braid with a pick-up. Once you have braided your hair, secure it with an elastic band. Repeat the same on the other side. Connect the two strands into one ponytail, securing them with an elastic band. Make a bun from the remaining ponytail. Just twist it and wrap it around the elastic. Then strengthen it with invisible pins and straighten it.

5. French braids

Part your hair down the middle. Having grabbed a small strand, you need to divide it into three parts and start weaving a French braid. To do this, you need to weave each strand in turn under the central one, picking up loose hair, trying to form a braid in the middle of the separated part. Don't forget to stretch the strands for volume. Braid the braid to the end and repeat the same with the other part of the hair.

6. French braids with buns

Another hairstyle can be created from the same braids that we wove. It is necessary to casually and volumetrically pull out the strands from the outside of the braid. Then twist each braid into a bun and secure. This hairstyle looks very beautiful and feminine. She resembles a beautiful flower.

7. Side braid

By dividing your hair into two parts, you can weave another original braid. Weave an inverted braid, picking up strands from only one side. There is no need to take strands from the face. You will get a very romantic and delicate hairstyle that looks easy and relaxed.

8. French braid on the side

Another weaving will suit any event in your life. It can be created both for an everyday look and for a festive evening. To begin, part your hair to the side and start making a French braid with a pick-up. Braid all the hair, including the ones left on the other side, to create a wonderful side braid. You can release two small strands at your temples.

9. Three braids

After parting your hair and dividing it into two parts, we braid it to the back of your head. To do this, you need to bend over, moving all your hair forward, and weave a “reverse” braid. When weaving it to the back of the head, secure it with an elastic band. Then braid the braid in the same way with a grab at the front. Connect both ponytails at the back of your head and braid the resulting ponytail again. Release the strands and put it in a bun, securing it with bobby pins or hairpins.

10. French Falls

For a waterfall braid, you don't need to braid all your hair. Because this hairstyle looks great with it down. It also performs a practical function. Having completed it, you will be satisfied, because your loose but collected hair will not bother you. So, separate the strand from the parting and braid it like a regular braid. The central strand needs to be released from the weave, and in its place take the same one for picking up. By lowering the bottom strands, you create a waterfall braid. In this way we weave to the back of the head. And repeat on the other side. By bringing the woven waterfalls together at the back of your head, you can secure them with an elastic band or a decorative hair clip.

The advantage of braided hairstyles is that your hair will not bother you throughout the day. And if you get caught in the rain or snow, your hairstyle will stand the test. You can also tie a scarf around your head when going outside. It is best to do braided hairstyles on hair that is not freshly washed. Then they will hold up better. And the extra strands will not get out of the weave. Good luck to you and stay beautiful always!

Hairstyles with braided elements always look very stylish and interesting. At the same time, creating them is incredibly exciting and even beginners can do it. Today we will talk about hairstyles with braided elements, and also discuss how to create them with your own hands at home, and show photo and video examples.

Hairstyles with braided elements: fish or fishtail

Today, hairdressers very often call fishtail braiding - fish. This concept reflects a very stylish weaving that looks simple and unobtrusive. A fish-style braid can be an excellent addition to a wedding or evening hairstyle, as well as everyday styling. It is very simple to create it in 2 strands, gradually weaving together the lower strands of hair from under each braid. What kind of fishtail hairstyle can be?

This can be a high style with a braid from the temple to the back of the head, and the hair can be tied into a ponytail or bun. You can create a classic side braid and create a beautiful voluminous hairstyle for a real princess. A fishtail braid can run along the sides or center of the head and be woven together.

The braid around the head is one of the most popular hairstyles this year. You can create a braid around your head in a variety of ways, but if you have long hair, it offers a universal hairstyle that will be an excellent solution for a celebration. Several braids around the head form one braided hairstyle and look simply amazing. Creating such a braid is very simple. To begin with, it is important to separate three equal strands from one side and the other. We divide each of them into three more parts and begin the classic weaving in three strands.

As a result, we fasten the strands with pins on one side and the other so that they fit tightly to each other. As a result, we get a very stylish circular braid hairstyle, which consists of three braids at once.
A classic circular braid is also easy to create at home. Style experts recommend using spikelet-style braiding for this, gradually weaving in the side strands of hair. This hairstyle can be complemented, for example, with a silk hair tie or original hairpins.

There are many hairstyles with braided elements, but high wedding hairstyles with curls are rightfully considered the most beautiful. So, the hairdresser initially curls it with a curling iron, and then forms a high hairstyle with braiding elements. You can create this hairstyle yourself. First, curl your hair using a cone-shaped curling iron. At the same time, remember that the curls must be voluminous and large.

Before you start creating a fashionable hairstyle, comb your hair at the roots. Next, after the curls are ready, we proceed to shaping the hairstyle. To do this, select the area where the braid will be located. As a rule, braids are braided on bangs or in a semicircle. We braid the braid, and after that we secure the curls with hairpins, tuck the hair at the back of the head, forming a beautiful evening hairstyle. Be sure to fix your hair with hairspray so that the styling lasts longer.

Another original hairstyle with braiding elements is a braid in the French waterfall style. This is a romantic braid that creates a free, beautiful look. This hairstyle is made in boho style, one of the most beautiful and recognizable in our time. Moreover, a braid in the French waterfall style suits absolutely everyone, regardless of hair texture, age, etc. It is created using a special technique in the French braid style, where the top strand is not woven into the braid (as in the classic version), but is passed through it.

This year, the braid style deserves special attention, because it is used to create many hairstyles. And one of them is a braid with a bun. We are talking about a high bun hairstyle, a spectacular addition to which was a spikelet in the back of the head. This hairstyle is very easy to create in just a few minutes. To do this, the hair begins to be braided from the back of the head. Then they are collected into a high bun and the hairstyle is ready!
Another original hairstyle paired with a spikelet is a high ponytail or, as it is also called, “ponytail.”

Initially, a braid in the style of a spikelet is collected on the hair, starting from the bangs to the crown. Following this, the hair is collected in a high ponytail, and then the hairstyle is fixed with an elastic band and hairspray. If you want to create a festive version of your hairstyle, simply curl the ends of your hair using a cone-shaped curling iron.

There are a variety of braided hairstyles, ranging from severe twists to effortless updos for loose hair. They all have their own characteristics, and you just have to choose the one you like the most!
