I walked to the Edem boutique and asked to call me a taxi. I woke up at home: in there was an IV sticking out of my arm. They barely pumped me out; foam was coming out of my mouth. I didn’t care, I didn’t want to live,” Kafelnikova admitted.

Doctors gave the model a terrible diagnosis of “Psychosis and bipolar disorder,” after which her father locked her in the clinic for two months, paying for treatment. Now Kafelnikova admits that she is grateful to him for this.

Currently, the model attends Narcotics Anonymous groups and loads herself with activities so as not to relapse. In addition, she is receiving education at the Ostankino Television School and the Financial Academy.

“How can you judge a person without knowing him? He [Gleb Golubin] never swore at me. And I have never seen him use it. I used it myself, but Gleb didn’t know about it. Last October, my dad decided to test me for drugs. That's how he found out everything. (...) Dad couldn’t calm down, blamed Gleb for everything and drove him crazy with the phrase: “Get tested,” the model recalls.

Kafelnikova quarreled with her father and moved in with her boyfriend. The athlete blocked his daughter’s cards and took away her driver. Because of drugs and text messages to her ex-boyfriend, Alesya had problems in her relationship with Gleb.

“Everything was bad. We could not establish relations with Gleb, although we tried. The inner emptiness required immediate filling with anything: food, parties, people, adrenaline, work. When all this became boring, I started using without pause. That's when I overdosed. (...) When I woke up, there was an IV sticking out of my arm, and my grandmother and her friend were sobbing next to me. They said that they could barely pump me out, foam was coming out of my mouth,” Kafelnikova said.

Doctors diagnosed Alesya with psychosis and bipolar disorder. The girl was placed in a clinic for two months. The model was waiting for Gleb to contact her, but the young man never wrote. According to Kafelnikova, she was truly in love with her chosen one. Parting with Golubin was extremely difficult for Alesya.

During a conversation with reporters, the girl admitted that she was trying to improve relations with her father. After Yevgeny Kafelnikov tweeted about his daughter’s problems, the international modeling agency IMG, which worked with many catwalk stars, including Kate Moss, Gisele Bündchen and Miranda Kerr, turned its back on her. At one time, psychologists even feared that communication with her parent would lead Alesya to a nervous breakdown.

“My father is trying to build a relationship with me. This is difficult for both of us. We are still different people. But I am grateful to my dad for locking me in the clinic. “I think about girls like me. Who cut themselves and use drugs. There are a lot of us who hide our pain on our sleeves. I would like to help them. (...) Now I have a chance to start life from scratch, as a different person, consciously. I have no career, no personal life. But there is no previous pain and resentment towards dad. For the first time I have me,” Alesya shared with Tatler magazine.

Over the past six months, Alesya Kafelnikova has been suspected of drug use, quarrels with her father, and was even talked about treatment in a mental hospital. The only daughter of the most titled tennis player in Russia constantly gets into scandals. Parents divorced early

In June 1998, Kafelnikov married Maria Tishkova. In the early 90s, she left her deaf-mute parents from Gomel to Moscow to work in the modeling business. In 2001, Kafelnikov divorced Tishkova with scandal. The athlete demanded that his daughter be left with him. According to the court decision, the girl remained to live with Evgeniy’s parents in Sochi. This did not prevent her from communicating with her mother. “We are already strangers. When Masha wants to be with her daughter, she calls my parents,” said Kafelnikov.

“Mom and dad were each busy with their own lives. Our communication boiled down to the fact that I was constantly scolded: “Why can’t you be normal?” Alesya recalls in an interview with Tatler.

In 2016, Alesya said that her parents were back together. Kafelnikov later explained that going out together did not mean reconciliation with his ex-wife.

Now Tishkova is organizing filming and continues to work as a model. Last July, she had a joint shoot with Alesya.

Kafelnikova cut her hand for the first time after being offended by Fata: “I took the sharpener apart, consciously, slowly, pulled out the blade and ran it over the skin. I got what I wanted: freedom from pain by punishing myself. It was like coming - only my hands were very cold.” Alesya was sent to a psychologist. But she didn’t stop cutting her hands. A year ago, a girl posted a photo with cut veins, a blood-stained napkin and the inscription “Mood.”

Became a model at age 15

In 2013, Alesya successfully passed tests at the international modeling agency Elite, but then she was not hired - the girl was under 16 years old. In 2014, she collaborated with Russian designers Kira Plastinina and Alexander Terekhov. A year later, the girl finally signed a contract with Elite and immediately found herself on the pages of Italian Vogue. One of the agency’s conditions was that Alesya had to gain a little weight (at that time she weighed 43 kilograms - too little, according to the editors).
