First you need to process the rim.

The future bow will not adhere well to its flat surface; this will require a narrow ribbon.

The edge of the light lilac ribbon needs to be singed so that it does not fall off while wearing the headband. Then you should wrap the rim with this narrow ribbon, remembering to make even distances between each turn. It is not necessary to wrap the rim frequently, the main thing is to cover the main part of the surface of the rim.
The glue should be distributed in an even layer, and along the entire line of contact between the tape and the rim. It is important to ensure that excess adhesive does not protrude beyond the tape.

You can temporarily remove the headband so that it does not interfere, and begin creating a floral bow. To do this, you need a wide tape, from which you need to prepare squares with sides of 50 mm. A total of 24 such blanks for the rim will be required.

From each square you need to make three-dimensional parts. Taking one piece in your hands, you need to bend it, following the diagonal line, to form a triangle.

The resulting workpiece must now be folded in half and the action repeated twice more. The result is a triangular piece, bent in four layers.

Having placed the cuts towards the bottom, you need to trim them with scissors, correcting any possible irregularities, and immediately scorch them with fire to solder them together. It is important to do this carefully so that the tape does not burn or become covered with black opalines, but at the same time, each layer of fabric must be processed.

A strong seam formed at the site of scorching. The entire petal at this point must be turned out.

The voluminous petal is ready, all that remains is to make the same ones from other pink squares.

Now you need to make a leaf for each petal. For this you need a fuchsia ribbon of medium width. You should prepare 4.5 cm sections from it. Their total number should correspond to the petals.

All leaves also need to be created separately. Taking the first piece in your hands, you need to place it face up.

Then fold it in half along its entire length, matching the edges and hiding the wrong side inside.

Squeezing the fold line with your fingers, you need to cut off the upper corner at a slight angle. In this case, the fold should remain unchanged.

The inclined cut must be singed while simultaneously soldering the fold of the tape together.

The workpiece can be straightened, the petal is almost ready.

Similar leaves need to be made from other segments.

Next, the petals and leaves need to be combined. The lower part of the petal should be greased with glue and attached to the pointed part of the leaf, retreating 2-3 mm.

The bottom cut of the leaf must be wrapped on both sides of the petal.

Holding in this position, the cut must be treated with fire, soldering.

This action must be repeated with all the leaves and petals, combining them.

Now you can start assembling the bow. To create the first row, you need to glue two petals together, aligning their side parts.

In the second row you need to place the parts towards the bottom side of the first level. Three petals should be glued between the parts of the first row.

Then the two petals need to be secured in the center.

And glue one more piece on the edges, as shown in the photo.

This is how the first half of the bow turned out. After repeating all the steps, you need to make a similar half.

Having attached the halves of the bow to the felt, you need to cut out the base according to their shape. It should be in the shape of a pyramid.

You will need 2 of these parts, of the same size. They should be glued to the underside of the bow halves. These bases will cover the intersection points of the petals and make it easier to attach the bow to the headband.

The remaining two petals now need to be attached at the very beginning of the bow halves, giving them a neat and complete look. Both parts are ready, you can start attaching the bow to the headband.

Stepping back 8 cm from the edge of the rim, you need to glue the first bow blank, placing the bottleneck upward.

We cut out 2 blanks from fabric. We will make a bow from one piece measuring 16x23 cm, and from a second piece measuring 3x40 cm we will make a cover for the headband.

1. Mark a strip of fabric, dividing it into 3 equal parts.

2. Apply “Moment” Crystal glue to the upper edge of the fabric and bend the edges of the fabric to the first mark along the entire length.

3. Fold the bottom of the fabric about 1 cm inward and sew along the entire length with stitches.

4. Apply glue to the top of the workpiece and glue the ends. After the glue has dried, pull out the thread.

5. Put the cover on the hoop.

6. Cut off the excess and glue the ends into the middle.

7. Make a bow. Take a rectangular blank for the bow and glue its long edges.

8. Find the center of the workpiece and glue the edges to it.

We fold 2 pieces with the wrong sides facing each other (ours are red and white).
We singe the corners of the ribbons so that the ribbons stick together.
Turning the tape inside out, fold it in half so that the top edge does not reach the bottom 2 cm.
Turn the tape over to the reverse side and fold its top towards the center of the connection of the ends.
We extend the long edge, connecting it to the short one.
We fasten the part with a tailor's pin. We make 2 such blanks.

You can make such a bow yourself by preparing the following materials:

9 pieces of satin ribbon measuring 5x20cm;
7 pieces of organza ribbon with lurex measuring 2.5x18 cm;
7 pieces of satin ribbon 2.5x15 cm;

To sew a voluminous bow made of fabric, prepare:

3 rectangles of cotton fabric 10x50 cm;
1 rectangle of cotton fabric 50x30 cm;
square of cotton fabric 10x10 cm;
3 rectangles of velor 10x50 cm;
a rectangle of cotton fabric of a different color, 30x50 cm;
padding polyester 150 g, dimensions 10x10 cm.

We sew narrow rectangles of cotton along short sections.

Sew velor strips along the short edge.

We fold the cotton and velor face to face and stitch along all the edges, leaving a hole on one of them for turning inside out. Next, we turn the part inside out, straighten it, manually sew up the hole and iron it. In order for the bow to end up with ears, the short edges should be ground off diagonally.

We sew wide strips of fabric on all sides, also leave an opening for turning, turn it inside out, sew it up, and iron it.

Place the smallest rectangles face to face. Let's do the same steps as with the previous rectangles, leaving one side unsewn.

We fold a wide strip of cotton in the middle, stitch it, and iron the seam.

We thread the bow into a ring made from padding polyester blank.

Double tape

The double bow is made in a slightly different way from the previous one. For it, two rings made of tape and a separately created center, obtained by sealing the edges, are useful.

Fold the two rings in the middle and sew or glue them so that their sides touch. After this, the middle is closed with a pre-made part. The design can be attached to a hairpin or elastic band.

For this accessory, you need to take a medium or wide ribbon; such beauty will not come out of a thin, narrow material. If your choice goes to a width of 2.5-5 cm, then this will be the ideal solution.

A variation of such a bow of two ribbons can be this analogue: in this case, two rings are superimposed with their centers on top of each other. You can also experiment with colors - for example, create a red or green bow, or even combine one or more shades in one product.

Try to make more than two layers, take ribbons of different widths and textures. Thus, from one pattern for creating a bow, you can create a wide variety of accessories.

Multi-layered puffy bow

How to tie a bow from grosgrain ribbon

The good thing about grosgrain ribbon is that, unlike satin, it is less susceptible to various types of damage. The satin one only needs to be hooked once and that’s it – the appearance of the bow is ruined. This trick won’t work with reps, but it also costs more.

Baby bows

The combination of several types of ribbons looks very interesting. In this case, colors are also combined, which, nevertheless, look very organic. The polka dot ribbon is just perfect! Such a bow will decorate a girl’s head for a holiday and in everyday life. For it you will need to connect two folded parts, as was seen earlier in master classes. With elastic band

Assembling a lush bow with an elastic band is not difficult. To do this you will need several layers of bows, decorated as we did earlier. The number of layers is limited only by your imagination and common sense. The difference between this accessory is that underneath it there is a kind of cross with serifs at the ends.

You can connect all this splendor with ribbons 1 cm wide, tying the middle. You can attach the bow to the elastic using a glue gun or something similar.

Butterfly bow

Buying beautiful headbands in stores is expensive and not very original. You can do them yourself. This will require a minimum of materials and time.

It will come out very neat and beautiful, no one will guess that the hair accessory was made by hand.

We will need:

base rim (preferably made of metal);
satin ribbon of a pleasant color about 1.5 cm wide;
thread in color;
glue gun or any good transparent glue with an elastic texture;

candle or lighter.

Beautiful headband with a bow:

1. Gradually lubricate the base rim with glue and carefully wrap it with a satin ribbon. The metal ends of the rim should be hidden. You can wrap the entire headband once, and to avoid an unsightly end, we wrap the second layer to the place where our bow will be sewn.

2. We make three ribbon segments. Two identical and one smaller. The approximate length of the short one is 10 cm. Those that are longer should be 15 centimeters long. Be sure to burn all the edges of the ribbons over the fire. Otherwise, the bow will quickly become sloppy in appearance.
